Experience the magic of Singing Pines, a historic, original cabin built in 1955. Situated in the Harris Park neighborhood of Bailey-just an hour from Denver with easy access via Highway 285-this home offers pure mountain relaxation. Singing Pines preserves the rich history of its past, featuring original hardwood flooring, warm pine walls and soaring vaulted ceilings! The centerpiece of the great room is a large brick fireplace that provides cozy heat, paired with original wagon wheel chandeliers for authentic mountain character and charm. Interior walls have been opened up to bring forest views to every corner of the home. This cabin is ready for restoration to make your mountain dreams come true! The previous setup included water holding tanks, a composting toilet, and a kitchen. Whether you envision bringing your creativity for a full renovation or using it as is-for a true off-grid getaway, the possibilities are endless. While there is currently no well or septic, the nearby community center offers well water for residence. Please note: the deck is not currently usable due to structural concerns. Set on a stunning .38 acre lot surrounded by towering pines and aspens, you'll enjoy daily visits from local wildlife-bears, moose, elk, deer and fox. Recent improvements include a full backfill and restructuring of the driveway, making access simple with parking for multiple vehicles and easy turnaround for even the largest trucks. A new, custom built oversized shed provides additional storage for gear, tools or outdoor toys. Harris Park backs to National Forest, offering endless opportunities for exploration! The neighborhood features 3 private lakes, and for $50/year in voluntary HOA dues, you'll have access to private fishing, a community center with playground, and fun events like Saturday night bingo, Taste of Harris Park, Huck Finn Days, and holiday celebrations. Minutes to downtown Bailey's dining, brewery, winery and shops!
